Membership Drive and Picnic

Every year since 2011, PAL has hosted a community picnic and membership drive.

We provide vendors, speakers, and entertainment.

Members can renew their memberships and sign up for programs.

Holiday Gathering

These gatherings, scheduled for mid-December, are a time for fun, sharing and laughter for the members of the community.

Our Holiday gatherings often feature displays of water colour art, entertainment, vendors and demonstrations of new programs.

They also provide a registration opportunity for the winter session.

Zing into Spring

March 2010 marked our 1st annual spring event.

With the onset of spring and the excitement of longer days and warmer weather, it is the perfect time for a gathering of friends and a great opportunity to introduce new classes for the spring programming session.

Program demonstrations offer curious participants an opportunity to glimpse what to expect in a program of interest.

Annual General Meeting

Our AGM is scheduled in June.

It is a yearly gathering of all current PAL (55+) members.

The Board of Directors will present our annual report, which contains information about the activities of the year.

It is held in conjunction with our Volunteer Appreciation Day.

Volunteer Appreciation

Our Volunteer Appreciation event thanks our volunteers and recognizes their contributions to our organization.

We also provide gifts and lunch.

Valentine’s Day Celebration

At our Valentine’s Party we celebrate a fun day with entertainment, games and some food.
