PAL Presents is a series of presentations that enhance the intellectual, social and emotional well being of the participants. We continue to provide interesting demonstrations and workshops. Some of our latest activities include:

 The Wellness, Leisure and Special Interest Series (now PAL Presents) was initiated in the Fall of 2012 and was supported by the Government of Manitoba’s Neighbourhoods Alive! – LIFT program, and covered a wide range of topics. There were ten presentations  that included:

  • Mature Drivers Refresher Course (Manitoba Safety Services)
  • CPR and the Automated External Defibrillator (Canadian First-Aid Training)
  • Travel North America, the Caribbean and Europe (Embassy and Colette Tours)

  • Herbs and Spices: Their Origins, Uses and Benefits (Red River College)
  • Introduction to Homeopathy (Dr. Kumar Belgaumkar)
  • Long Arm Quilting and More (Sandy Spence)
  • Print Advertising: an Introduction (Dana Derkson)
  • Tea Time (Agatha Moyer of CBC)
